Adjunct Faculty in the Doctor of Medical Science Program
Dr. Elijah Salzer has practiced obstetrics and gynecology as a physician assistant for over 25 years. Dr. Salzer is a clinical professor at the Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital Department of Physician Assistant Studies in New York. He graduated with highest honors from the Long Island University Division of PA Studies, and completed the Montefiore Medical Center Postgraduate PA Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Salzer received the Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg.
Prior to attending PA school, Dr. Salzer earned a BA in religion from Smith College and an MA in religion from Columbia University. Dr. Salzer has practiced at Montefiore, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and also holds a New York State license as a sexual assault forensic examiner. He has lectured at regional, state, national and international conferences. Dr. Salzer continues to practice at Mount Sinai Medical Center and in private practice in the Bronx.
