Adjunct Faculty in the Doctor of Medical Science Program
Dr Felix Iheanacho serves as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Lynchburg DMSc program. He teaches a section of Organizational Behavior and Leadership. He currently serves as the department head of Medical Homeport (Family medicine and Primary Care Clinic) at the U.S Hospital Sigonella in Italy where he also sees patients full time. Dr. Iheanacho is a U.S. Navy Officer and has experience in hospital medicine, family medicine and women’s health.
In addition to receiving his doctoral degree from Lynchburg, Dr. Iheanacho obtained his graduate certificates in Global Health and Healthcare Administration. He has his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Tennessee, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of North Carolina in Asheville, and his Associate Degree in General Studies from Greensboro Technical Community College in North Carolina.
Dr. Iheanacho has received numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career, with the most recent being the Meritorious Service Medal in 2022.
