A native of Fairfax, Virginia, Dr. Delis earned her undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology at Virginia Tech, with internships in pediatric neurology and in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. She completed her physician assistant studies at James Madison University, where she served as the diversity chair for the PA student society. Delis practiced in the Denver, Colorado, area before returning to Virginia with her husband, daughter, son, two rambunctious dogs, and one very patient cat.
