Adjunct Faculty in the Doctor of Medical Science Program
Dr. Steven Kelham serves as an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Lynchburg, Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program. Recently began as Physician Associate, Occupational Medicine for the United States Air Force, Robins AFB, GA. Previously, Senior PA, Sports Medicine for OrthoGeorgia and Clinical Assistant Professor, Mercer University. Dr. Kelham is currently a member of the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery and Distinguished Fellow, American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Dr. Kelham received a Doctor of Health Science in 2014 from Nova Southeastern University. Completed a Residency in Orthopedic Surgery. He received an MS and BS in Physician Assistant Studies from University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Dr. Kelham serves on the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) as a volunteer and has received numerous awards and recognitions including Paul W. Myers Award for PA Educator of the Year, Distinguished Fellow, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Jesse Edwards USAF Company Grade Officer Physician Assistant of the Year, Interservice Physician Assistant Orthopedic Preceptor of the Year.
