The Management Consulting Group at University of Lynchburg is a faculty-student consulting initiative in which teams work on meaningful projects for organizations in the community.
Each semester, the team selects a project and applies what they’ve learned in management major coursework. By the end of the semester, the team will have completed a significant managerial project, built managerial competence (and confidence), and added relevant experience to their resumes. The team will have been useful to yet another organization within the community.
Management students take key roles such as Project Manager, Volunteer Manager, Research Director, and Training Manager.
