The Department of Psychological Science presents the following awards to seniors at the annual Academic Awards Banquet.
Outstanding Research in Psychology Award
The recipient of this award demonstrates research skills above and beyond those usually expected of a student completing normal requirements. High academic achievement also is a requirement. Past recipients have usually completed multiple research projects, presented at conferences, and/or published their work.
Outstanding Service in Psychology Award
The recipient of this award demonstrates outstanding service to the field, usually including service as a PASS leader or lab assistant, as well as community service.
Sally Glass Hargis Senior in Psychology Award
The recipient of this award demonstrates strengths in all areas of psychology: leadership, service, academics, and research. They also must have a GPA of 3.8 or above.
