A Winning Partnership
University of Lynchburg and Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) have partnered to create a path for students to complete their bachelor’s degree at Lynchburg in two years! This can be accomplished by:
- Completing the recommended course sequence at CVCC to complete an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business Administration
- Following the curriculum guides for the following approved majors at Lynchburg:
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Economics – General and Financial Emphasis
- Management – General and Human Resource Management Emphasis
- Marketing
Students will submit an application for admission as a transfer student at the University. An official CVCC transcript is required to verify completion of the Associate of Arts and Sciences. Students who participate in Pathway 2+2 will be eligible for Lynchburg transfer scholarships and can also participate in the Transfer Student Scholarship Competition.
Curriculum Guides
Following are curriculum guides for each of the approved pathway programs of study. The suggested sequences list CVCC classes required to enter University of Lynchburg as a junior.
To get credit for coursework completed, University of Lynchburg accepts for credit those college courses in which grades of “C” and above are earned. Students interested in the pathway programs should meet with an academic advisor or counselor at Central Virginia Community College.
