Biography:

Eric Schmidt, originally from Danville, Virginia, holds a PhD in Medical Science from the University of Calgary. His research focuses on craniofacial growth, orofacial clefting, and osteoarthritis susceptibility. He now teaches anatomy and pathology at the University of Lynchburg while continuing his research on identifying genes contributing to osteoarthritis susceptibility in mice and humans.
