Due to the University’s ongoing efforts to stem the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), this event has been canceled.

"The Lavender Scare" PosterDr. David. K. Johnson is an associate professor of history at the University of South Florida. The 2017 documentary “The Lavender Scare” is based on his first book, “The Lavender Scare: The Cold War Persecution of Gays and Lesbians in the Federal Government.” A Q&A with the author will follow his lecture.
