It’s cold outside and getting colder! What is Virginia’s wildlife doing this time of year? Join us to find out how animals prepare for winter and what they are doing now.
This guided program will allow children to explore nature and learn about their animal neighbors. Some of the topics to be covered are hibernation, food storage, and cold weather adaptations.
The program will take place at several locations along our trail system. Activities and content are geared towards children ages 6-11.
Persons needing accommodations for disabilities at a University of Lynchburg event should contact the Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources at least one week before the event.
