The School of Sciences and The Daura Museum are pleased to be hosting Dr. Wade Jeffrey, oceanographer and photographer, with a talk featuring highlights from his research in Antarctica.
Please join us Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Hall Campus Center Ballroom for his presentation, 40 Years Below 60 South. Dr. Jeffrey is a Virginia Tech graduate who has made 14 trips to Antarctica, where his research has focused on stress effects on marine microbes.
As an added bonus, Dr. Jeffrey is kicking off an exhibit of his photography at the Daura Museum of Art, where it will be displayed from Oct. 17-Dec. 10.
