The University of Lynchburg’s Daura Museum of Art has a new director. Brooke Marcy, who previously served as curator at Riverviews Artspace in downtown Lynchburg, will assume the role on Sept. 18.

Summer exhibition highlights Pierre Daura’s family-inspired art
Pierre Daura (1896 – 1976): Picturing Attachments, the first exhibition focusing on the way the artist’s family inspired his art, will be on view in the Daura Gallery at Lynchburg College from June 8 through July 31. The curator will speak at the Daura Gallery’s annual dinner June 11.
