The University of Lynchburg community was saddened to learn about the death of Dr. Nancy Cowden on Saturday, Nov. 14. Cowden, professor of biology and associate director of the Westover Honors College, had taught at Lynchburg for more than 20 years.

Lynchburg names new dean of Westover Honors College
The University of Lynchburg’s Westover Honors College will soon have a new dean. Associate Professor of English Dr. Beth Savage, who has served as assistant director of the program for six years, will take over for Dr. Ed DeClair on July 1.
