Lynchburg College’s School of Business and Economics (SOBE) ranked 10th in Leadership Excellence magazine as one of the best leadership development programs in the nation.
The recently announced rankings placed SOBE in the “Education/Universities/Schools of Business and Management” category with more than 150 schools competing.
LC students raise record amount for cancer research
More than 70 LC students lost their locks March 1 to raise more than $14,000 for St. Baldrick’s, a nonprofit dedicated to raising money to fight cancer in children.

Turcotte and Selden Receive Human Resource Certifications
In January 2009, Colin J. Turcotte (Senior, Management Major) earned certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) while Dr. Sally Selden (Professor, Management) earned certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
