Who is Jeff Harbin? New University of Lynchburg librarian enjoyed rapid round of ‘Jeopardy’
If you have questions, Jeff Harbin can help you find the answers. That’s one of his favorite things about being a librarian. About two weeks ago, Harbin appeared on “Jeopardy,” CBS’s game show, where host Alex Trebek reads answers and contestants respond in the form of a question. It’s a test of wide-ranging knowledge, quick thinking, and the ability to buzz in before your opponents.
Lynchburg grounds crew member gears up for his 27th Bike MS ride
Gary Smoot, a staff member on the Lynchburg College grounds crew, will bike 200 miles this weekend to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research. He’s riding in memory of a friend who recently died after a long struggle with the disease.
