The University of Lynchburg’s HEART Project will host a session on “Tending the Wound of Sexual Abuse” with Dr. Anthony Delmedico at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, in 232 Schewel Hall. The program is free and open to the public, and registration is not required.

Hornet Days to include hazing prevention presentation by Love Like Adam Foundation
On Saturday, Aug. 20, the Love Like Adam Foundation will give a hazing-prevention presentation at the University of Lynchburg. The presentation, to be held at 1 p.m. in Turner Gymnasium, is part of the University’s annual Hornet Days, a three-day orientation for new students and their families. It is not open to the public.
Lynchburg names new vice president for student development
The University of Lynchburg has a new vice president for student development. Eric T. Baldwin comes to Lynchburg from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, where he served as assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students. Baldwin will start on Nov. 1.
Lynchburg students ‘Leading Off Campus’
Astrid Kerschbamer ’21, a health promotion major at University of Lynchburg, said her goals for participating in Leading Off Campus, a new leadership program for area college students, included gaining confidence and networking skills, and possibly some help finding an internship.
