Dr. Travis Kaufman, ’20 DMSc, PA-C specializes in emergency medicine, global health, and strategic medical planning. Dr. Kaufman graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Nebraska in 2012. In July 2020, he earned a Doctor of Medical Science Degree (DMSc) in Emergency Medicine from the University of Lynchburg, Va., further solidifying his expertise in his specialized field.

Beyond his medical accomplishments, Dr. Kaufman has a passion for physical fitness. He completed the Ironman World Championships in 2015 and earned the title of USA Triathlon All American in October 2014. Dr. Kaufman is deeply committed to PA education and mentoring aspiring healthcare professionals, as well as facilitating their transition into leadership roles. Recognizing the importance of staying connected with professional communities, Dr. Kaufman is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA).
