You are automatically considered for academic scholarships once you are admitted to the University of Lynchburg — no separate scholarship application is required.
Academic scholarships and awards for 2025-26 range from $18,000-$24,000 and are awarded to full-time students.
The University of Lynchburg uses the high school grade point average to award scholarships. Calculate your level of scholarship.
Scholarships may have different academic expectations than federal, state, and University need-based aid. Should you receive a scholarship, your scholarship letter will indicate the academic standards required for renewal. After the freshman year, scholarships are renewable for three additional years if renewal eligibility is maintained. You may receive only one of these awards.
Transfer students are also eligible for scholarships and there is a discounted tuition rate for students in our Access program (adult learners age 25 and older).
